Creed Monarch Inc.
Office Addition and Tool Tower
New Britain, CT
Creed Monarch Inc. wished to demolish their entire business area and construct a new 16,000 square foot addition to their 153,000 square foot factory building. AE Design Group completed the full 2-story addition in the spring of 2014. The addition included an expansion to their cafeteria, a fitness room for their employees, a lounge room, a training room, along with executive offices, four conference rooms, and 6,500 square feet of open office. This addition also enabled them to gain approximately 5,000 square feet of prime real estate, factory space previously occupied by business functions.
AE Design Group also designed an enclosure for an automated storage and retrieval system. The total footprint of the building was 26’x15’ with a height of 80 feet. This is a non-occupied building with the sole purpose of storing parts; the parts are delivered as prompted to an access window on the ground floor.
